TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Most of our work is
commissioned. We conduct advertisement based recruitment campaigns and
executive search assignments. Each assignment is individually structured
and the fee element is negotiated and agreed according to scale and
complexity.
Broadly, our fees
work out at between 25% and 30% of an appointee's OTE. Advertising is
client paid. We may or may not charge a retainer as part of an advertised
assignment. Travel and subsistence expenses incurred by us or candidates
are agreed in advance and recharged to the client.
Fees for executive
searches are agreed in advance and 30% of the total fee is charged as a
retainer, payable at the start of an assignment. We bill the balance of
the fee after the appointee joins and we do not take an interim payment
at short list stage. However if an assignment is cancelled after running
for 28 days or more, we will charge a cancellation fee of a further 30%
of the total fee.
For contingency
placements which are not retained or advertised, our fee is calculated at
30% of the first year's guaranteed income and is payable on the
appointee's start date.
Our replacement
policy for retained assignments is as follows: Providing the original job
specification and candidate profile have not materially altered in the
interim, we will endeavour to replace any candidate who leaves within the
first 3 months of employment free of further charge. If this requires an
advertisement to be re-run then the cost will be borne by the client.
In the case of
contingent placements there are no replacement or repayment conditions
unless otherwise specified.
Settlement terms are
as follows: For final invoices which we bill only after an appointee
starts, 14 days from date of invoice. For advertisement costs, 7 days
from date of invoice. For retainers, 7 days from date of invoice. For
repayment of expenses or other charges, 14 days from date of invoice.
Non-compliance with these terms negates our replacement policy.
